The Logotag software option to identify the components of an inlay design and generate cutting parts for water jet machines or saw bridge

Intarsio is an option of the CAD Logotag designed to simplify the reading and management of complex drawings such as inlays and floors.

It is able to break down the initial drawing in different details for processing, automatically generating the BOM of geometric profiles and the production orders for Lastra and MagicTool. Alternatively, you can save the parts list in single files DXF / DWG to run directly on numerical controls or import them in third-party CAM systems.

2D drawing

The user with Intarsio, as part of the 2D CAD Logotag, can use all the features of the 2D design and can import files from the most popular formats (DXF, DWG, AI, EPS).

The drawings typically contain imperfections such as overlapping lines, discontinuities and small entities that can easily be eliminated by automatic strategies and make-up.

The make-up also allows you to group segments in to individual entities and convert segments in arcs within user-defined tolerances.

Profiles recognition

The system automatically recognizes the closed profiles in the correct and optimized drawing, it will calculate the number, size and area of all parts, and allows the user to assign different materials to individual details.

You may have quotations depending on the material chosen and the cutting length, gross area, net area and quote of the individual work pieces. It is possible to print the drawings with numbered pieces for the installers or rendering tables.

Rendering

Users can use the standard Intarsio libraries to match the details of the drawing (closed profiles) with the images of the materials (marble, granite, glass, wood) which are pre-loaded in the system. In this way you get a constant picture of the project, or a representation of the finished work similar to reality.

The most demanding customers can match Intarsio to Lastra and Telecamera options to capture images of the materials that will be chosen during the work.

The image and 3D project engine of Lastra shows the finished work (eg. inlay, floor) and allows the user to modify their appearance to achieve effects, such as open book, veining and more generally artistic compositions of high quality and close to reality.

Production

The inlay management concludes by saving the entire parts listed in single DXF / DWG files to be processed on the CNC machine. Alternatively, these files can be imported to third-party CAM systems.

More simply, when the user can use a Taglio CAM (eg. Lastra, Magic Tool), it is possible to create the work production order, from which we get the cutting plans for the machine directly, from Intarsio.

Each work order contains the list of pieces divided by technology, material and thickness. The user, before generating the cutting plans, combines the slabs of the materials they wish to use, specifying the size and quantity.

The Taglio CAM is therefore able to automatically distinguish the pieces to be cut with the most appropriate technologies by associating, for example, the shapes to the water jet machines, the rectangular pieces to bridge cutters and recognizing any UNI tiles that are not required in the production.

Different types of nesting are combined according to the available cutting technology.
