LASERSCAN: General description /Images gallery
LASERSCAN - Milling from scanning / mathematics
The LaserScan / SurfScan programs generate three-dimensional tool paths intuitively and at high speed from scannings performed by laser probes, mechanical tracer points, or directly from 3D mathematical models.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Acquisition of projects by laser scanning
- Automatic generation of 3D model
- Realistic shading and textures
- Roughing and Finishing with: Disc, flat - toric -conic and ballnose tools
- Roughing strategies for boring and Z levels
- Acquisition of STL / 3D CAD data
- Automatic management of feedrate speed
- Machining on G17, G198, G19 plans with 5 axis heads
- Project previews
- Special shaping effects on scanned surfaces
- Core roughing
- Level roughing
- Simulation of removal of material
- Optimized finishing by blade/disk
- Copying
- Smoothing over the entire surface of a piece or specific areas: especially recommended for smoothing laser scanned surfaces.
- 3 to 5 axis CNC postprocessor
- Bas-relief ganaration and machining
